(ELKHART) – A Granger, Indiana man died in a three vehicle crash near Elkhart Monday evening.
66 year old John Levy was heading east on Old 33 approaching County Road 3. As he slowed for the intersection, his vehicle was struck from behind by an SUV. Levy's auto was pushed into the westbound lane where it was struck by an oncoming truck.
Levy died at Elkhart General Hospital.
22 year old Cody Nemec of Elkhart was driving the SUV and suffered a cut to the head. The driver of the pick up was not injured.
The crash happened at 6:16 PM.
