(MILTON TOWNSHIP) – A Dowagiac woman was injured in a two vehicle crash in Cass County's Milton Township.
Sheriff's Department officials say 56 year old Linda Stilwell was driving south on Gumwood Road at 2:48 PM Tuesday when she crossed U.S. 12, striking a second vehicle. The other vehicle, driven by 68 year old Michael Solomon of Dowagiac, was turning west onto U.S. 12 when he was hit.
Stilwell complained of minor head pains and was taken to Lakeland Hospital in Niles. Solomon was not injured in the crash.
The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indian Police Department, Niles Fire Department and the SMCAS Ambulance Service all assisted deputies at the scene.
