(UNDATED) – Another dose of snow could be coming our way.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, which will be in effect from 5 PM Wednesday until 1 PM Thursday. The advisory area includes St. Joseph, Branch, Cass and Hillsdale Counties in Michigan, along with LaGrange, Elkhart, Noble, Steuben and DeKalb Counties in Indiana.
Forecasters say snow will move into the area rapidly late this afternoon and persist into the nighttime hours. The greatest chance for snow accumulation will be Wednesday evening. We could see 2 to 5 inches of new snowfall by Thursday afternoon.
Roadways will become slippery so please use caution if your are traveling tonight and into Thursday.
A cold front will move into the area behind the snow. Temperatures will drop into the low 20's by Thursday afternoon. Overnight temperatures will get to 11 and the high on Friday is forecasted to be 19.
