(COLDWATER) – Two incumbents are looking to keep their seats on the Branch County Commission.
Branch County Clerk Terry Kubasiak says current Second District Commissioner Leonard Kolcz and incumbent Fifth District Commissioner Randall Hazelbaker have turned in their paperwork to run in the Republican Primary on August 4.
Branch County's Second District is made up of the City of Bronson, along with Bethel, Gilead, Batavia, Bronson, Noble and Matteson Townships.
The Fifth District includes Coldwater Township, the City of Coldwater's Fourth Ward, the Village of Quincy and a portion of Quincy Township.
The filing deadline for the August Primary Election is April 21.
