
(STURGIS) – Tied after three quarters, the Three Rivers boys basketball team outscored host Sturgis 25-23 in the fourth quarter and went on to beat the Trojans 81-79 in a Wolverine Conference South Division match up. Thomas Kurowski led the Trojans and all scorers with 40 points on the night. Trey Wallick added 19 points while Brady Webb had 12 points. Three Rivers got a team high 34 points from Parker Ellifritz, who was 6 of 8 from three points land. Isaiah Moore added 15 points and 10 rebounds while Oakley Withers had 13 points. Sturgis drops to 7-9 overall and 2-5 in the South Division. Three Rivers is now 6-9 overall and 1-5 in the Division.
