(INDIANAPOLIS) – In an announcement that everyone involved expected would come, the Indiana High School Athletic Association has canceled the 2019-2020 high school boys basketball tournament. The announcement came after Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb said that schools would be out until at least May 1. In a statement, IHSAA Commissioner Bobby Cox says they had hoped to continue the tournament, but now it's evident those hopes are unreachable. Cox says the health and safety of the public remains their primary focus.
