(CENTREVILLE) – The St. Joseph County United Way is doing their part to help people who need assistance during the coronavirus situation.
Right now, that means making sure that people have food. United Way Executive Director Kelly Hostetler says their office receives several calls a day, both asking for food and offering to give food. LINKC.
Hostetler says the United Way Board voted that all the money raised during this time will go towards the Pandemic Food Fund. She explains what it will be used for. LINKD.
The next Fresh Food Initiative will be held Friday, April 3, at 1 PM at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds in Centreville. Only one box of food will be given to each vehicle that shows up.
