(UNDATED) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has placed an idle speed restriction on boats on the West Lakes Chain in Noble County.
The idle speed restrictions are put into effect when surface water conditions are likely to enter dwelling structures as a result of a wake.
The West Lakes chain includes Jones, Steinbarger, Tamarack and Waldron Lakes.
