(UNION TOWNSHIP) – One person was injured in a two vehicle collision in Elkhart County's Union Township Wednesday just before 1 PM.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 73 year old Constance Gibbs of Elkhart was driving north on County Road 7, south of State Road 119. A second vehicle, driven by 50 year old Anthony Artisit of Goshen, was heading southwest on State Road 119.
Investigators say Gibbs pulled out in front of Artisit's vehicle and the two collided.
Artisit complained of pain to his left arm and had non life threatening injuries. He was taken to Elkhart General Hospital to be treated.
Gibbs was given a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
