(CENTREVILLE) – St. Joseph County Sheriff Mark Lillywhite says his department is investigating two complaints of destruction of property.

The first incident happened in the 58,000 block of U.S. 131 in Fabius Township during the nighttime hours on May 19. The suspect or suspects attempted to force their way into a barn, causing minor damage to the building.

The other incident was an unrelated property damage complaint in the 300 block of South Second Street in the Village of Burr Oak. The suspect or suspects in this incident damaged a window to a van at a business sometime in the morning hours on May 20.
