Motorcycle Accident Sends Schoolcraft Man To Hospital

(CALVIN TOWNSHIP) – A Schoolcraft man was injured in a motorcycle incident in Cass County's Calvin Township.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says at 1:39 PM Sunday, 50 year old Michael Bell was driving his motorcycle west on Brownsville Street east of Crooked Creek Road when he hit some loose gravel. Bell lost control of his motorcycle and ended up in a ditch.

Bell was wearing a helmet when the crash happened. He was taken to Elkhart General Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The Cassopolis Police Department, Penn Fire Department, Michigan State Police and Pride Care Ambulance assisted at the scene.
