
(UNDATED) – Southern Michigan has 10 new cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday afternoon.
The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency says 4 new cases were reported in St. Joseph County. That brings the total number of people infected to 323 and there have been 5 deaths.
Branch County has 1 new case, making 245 people who have the coronavirus. There have been 2 deaths. Hillsdale County has no new cases. There are 189 residents who have COVID-19 and 25 people who have died from it.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says Cass County has 5 new cases of coronavirus. 154 people have tested positive and there have been 6 deaths.
The Michigan Department of Corrections says there were no new cases of coronavirus at the Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater. That makes 39 staff members and 793 inmates who have tested positive. There have also been 23 inmate deaths.
Statewide, there were 454 new cases of COVID-19, which means 66,627 Michiganders have the virus. There were also 30 new deaths, which makes 6,005 people who have died from COVID-19.
