(UNDATED) – Crack sealing will be done this summer on the east side of Coldwater.
Nick Schrippa with the Michigan Department of Transportation says crews will be crack sealing I-69 from the I-69 Business Loop to U.S. 12 in Coldwater. Work is scheduled to start August 10 and be finished by August 28.
Workers will be sealing surface cracks in the pavement to prolong the life of the roadway and slow down the deterioration of the road surface.
This is part of a project that includes work being done in Battle Creek starting July 13 and in Springfield beginning July 20.
There will be daytime single lane closures in the work areas.
