(LAGRNGE) – LaGrange County has a new Information Technology Director.

During their meeting this week, the County Commission unanimously
approved the hiring of Dave Warren. Commissioner Terry Martin made the recommendation and explained that he sat on the review and interview committee. Also on the committee was County Councilman Peter Cook, Heather Shaver of the IT Department and the IT consultant the County hired to help in the search.

Martin says there were approximately 30 applications for the position, but Warren stood out among the other candidates. Martin says Warren spent the last 16 years working in Missouri and built the IT department where he was employed.

Warren will begin his new duties with LaGrange County on August 10.
