(NEWBERG TOWNSHIP) – Authorities say alcohol appears to have been a factor in a one vehicle crash that injured a Union woman.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department reports that 19 year old Courtney Bridges was driving south on M-40 near Bald Hill, just before 5 AM Saturday. Her vehicle went off the road, striking a mailbox and a utility pole.
Bridges was taken by Newberg Fire and Ambulance to Three Rivers Health to be treated for her injuries.
The Pokagon Tribal Police also assisted at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
