(CONSTANTINE) – Constantine High School has a new Assistant Principal and Athletic Director.
During Monday night's meeting the Constantine Board of Education accepted the resignation of Jeff Hattendorf as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. Later in the meeting, the Board approved the hiring of Shad Fish to fill those positions. Fish previously was a teacher in the Fennville Public Schools.
During the Public Comment portion of the agenda, Constantine High School Principal Travis Walker shared that Hattendorf is the fourth administrator to leave the school district in less than a year. LINKC.
Walker says he hopes the Board of Education will take into consideration why administrators and teachers are leaving Constantine.
Hattendorf wasn't without a job for long. Also on Monday night, the Bronson Board of Education approved by a 7-0 vote to hire him to be their Online Facilitator. He will be working with teachers and families to aid in two way communications between school and home.
He will also help with monitoring Bronson's online platforms and help with the new initiatives throughout the District.
