(BRONSON TOWNSHIP) – A Monday afternoon fire destroyed a mobile home in Bronson Township.
Bronson Fire Chief Scott Wilber says the Bronson Fire Department was sent to 1126 Hollow Road at 1:30 PM. Firefighters arrived and found the single wide mobile home completely engulfed in flames. After an hour, crews were finally able to put the fire out.
Wilber says no one was living in the unit, which was being used for storage. The mobile home and its contents were a total loss. Damage estimates are not available.
Wilber says a cause of the fire is not known. The Branch County Sheriff's Department assisted firefighters at the scene.
