(CENTREVILLE) – To date, there have only been two positive cases of COVID-19 at Glen Oaks Community College.
During last week's Board of Trustees meeting, Glen Oaks President Dr. David Devier shared there had been a number of students quarantined due to contact tracing, or showing symptoms. Presently there are only a handful of students in quarantine. Glen Oaks continues to work hard to require the campus community to mask up and observe the Glen Oaks safety protocols.
Plans are to model the Winter 2021 Semester in the same manner as the current Fall semester.
Devier says there were questions as a result of the recent Michigan Supreme Court ruling. The Glen Oaks Coronavirus Task Force met and has decided to continue to follow all of the safety protocols for the foreseeable future that were put in place as detailed in the school's Preparedness and Response Plans.
