(OTSEGO) – Sturgis went on the road and dropped a Wolverine Conference game to host Otsego 35-7. Sturgis' lone touchdown came late in the second quarter as Jacob Thompson returned a kick off 92 yards for a score. Sturgis was held to 108 yards of total offense on the night. Thompson had 18 carries for 35 yards while Blake Burkey had 15 carries for 62 yards. Connor Strudwick led the defense with 11 tackles while Roman Robinson had 6. Sturgis is now 2-3 overall and in the Wolverine Conference. Otsego is now 2-3 overall and in the conference as well.
