(GOSHEN) – Two women were sent to the hospital after two vehicles collided just north of Goshen.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 76 year old Lola Gunderman of Goshen was leaving a parking lot westbound from the east side of U.S. 33 at 5:17 PM Tuesday. A second vehicle, driven by 21 year old Cheyenne Mayberry, was heading northwest in the left most lane of U.S. 33 when Gunderman entered that lane and the vehicles collided.
Gunderman was taken to Elkhart General Hospital complaining of pain to her neck and chest. Mayberry was also taken to Elkhart General Hospital with chest pain, and due to her being six months pregnant.
Gunderman was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
