(UNDATED) – A Fort Wayne resident was killed in a two vehicle crash in northeast Indiana.
The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office says Tommy Hemminger of Sturgis was driving north on State Road 5 and approaching the intersection of County Road 200 South at 2:40 PM on Tuesday. A second vehicle, driven by by Yu Nud of Fort Wayne, was heading east on County Road 200 South and failed to stop at the State Road 5 intersection, and the two vehicles crashed.
A passenger in the Nud vehicle, 44 year old Ha Le-Ma Be of Fort Wayne, was killed in the crash. Nud was taken to Parkview LaGrange Hospital to be treated for cuts. Another passenger, Spee Ma Be of Fort Wayne, was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of internal injuries.
Hemminger was not injured, but was taken to Parkview LaGrange Hospital to be examined.
