(COLDWATER) – Sentence has been handed down to a Quincy man who allegedly stalked and used a computer to harass women.
Branch County Circuit Court officials say that 34 year old Zachary Toth was sentenced Monday to four to seven years for using a computer to commit a crime, and to two to five years for aggravated stalking. The sentences will run concurrently.
Toth was originally arrested on 14 charges, but the Branch County Prosecutor's Office dismissed 12 of them.
The Branch County Sheriff's Department started an investigation in April 2020. Officers say Toth allegedly used his Facebook account to send multiple sexually explicit and graphic videos to three different women.
Police say one of the women told them that in one month she received 30 of these messages. One of the other alleged victims reportedly told Toth to not contact her anymore. She says he sent her harassing and intimidating messages.
