(QUINCY) – The Quincy Board of Education accepted the resignation of High School Principal Joey Wright during Monday night's meeting.

Quincy Superintendent Marc Kramer shared with the Board of Education what steps are being taken to fill Wright's position. LINKC.

Kramer says they hope to have a good pool of candidates they will pull from and see where they go.

Wright attended the virtual meeting and thanked the District's leadership for his time as High School Principal. LINKD.

Wright shared that he will be going to work for the Michigan Department of Corrections. His last day with Quincy Schools will be January 22.

The Board of Education also accepted the resignations of Sara Wood as Middle School Para-Professional and Michael Bean as a Custodian.
