(QUINCY) – Quincy High School has a new Principal, and it's someone very familiar with the school district.
During Monday's meeting, the Quincy Board of Education approved the hiring of Amanda Webb to be the new Quincy High School Principal.
Board member Brian Preston says he was part of the interview committee that searched for the next principal. LINKC.
Webb graduated from Quincy Schools and then from Western Michigan University. She has been a U.S. history and government teacher in the school district for the last five years. Webb says she is looking forward to serving in her new position. LINKD.
Webb takes over for Joey Wright, who resigned in January after serving as the Quincy High School Principal for two and a half years. He accepted a job working for the Michigan Department of Corrections.
