(MONGO) – The Mongo United Methodist Food Pantry will be open for distribution this evening.
Hours of operation will from 4 PM to 6 PM. Those coming to pick up food should expect a slight modification in regards to paperwork. Organizers say they will need a paper slip filled out to pick up food, which will be a simple process.
Those in need of food will drive up to pick up a box of food and perishable bag. Those in attendance last month can bring their completed form. If you were not there, that's not a problem as forms will be given out in the drive up line.
Volunteers will be on hand to supervise and provide assistance if needed. If you are ill, please stay home and you can send someone in your place to pick up food. Sending someone is also a good option for seniors who may not want to be out in public.
The food pantry team will continue to practice 6 foot social distancing from others and take precautions to keep everyone as safe as possible.
