(CENTREVILLE) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department is looking for a runaway juvenile.
Sheriff Mark Lillywhite says at 2:05 PM on Thursday, deputies were dispatched to the 59,000 block of Burr Oak Road. They were told that on the night of February 15, 16 year old Natalie Welch was going to the mall in Kalamazoo, but due to the weather, she stayed at a friend's house in the Colon area.
On Friday at 3:30 PM, Natalie's phone was found in a shoe box at the Meijer Store in Three Rivers. She was last seen in Sturgis on Saturday.
Natalie is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and approximately 140 pounds. Natalie has blonde hair with pink highlights and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red jacket, black leggings and white Nike tennis shoes.
Natalie has her name tattooed on her left ankle and a tattoo of interlocking hearts on her right wrist. She may also have her nose pierced.
If anyone has information on Natalie's whereabouts, they are asked to call the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department at 269-467-9045.
