(COLDWATER) – The City of Coldwater will start flushing hydrants today.
Workers with the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities will begin
their semi-annual flushing in Ward One. During the flushing process, you may notice a slight discoloration of water. If this happens, you can run cold water out of your faucet until the water becomes clear.
City officials say it's also a good idea to not do any laundry while crews are flushing hydrants.
Once the hydrants have been flushed in Ward One, workers will move to Ward Three, then Ward Two and finally Ward Four.
If you have any questions, you can call 517-279-9531.
