(COLON) – The Colon boys and girls track teams each finished second in their portion of their annual Dale Shook Invitational. The Quincy boys and girls each took first place. In the girls events, the Colon team of Jenna Breneman, Macey Burgess, Kyleigh Sweet and Sydney Taylor won the 800 meter relay. Burgess was second in the 800 meter run and third in the high jump. Sweet was second in the both the 100 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles. In the boys portion of the invitational, Simon Vinson was first in the 100 meters. Jacob Bower was first in the 200 meters. Alex Stoll won both the 110 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles. LaWayne Wickey won the 400 meters. Vinson, Stoll, Wickey and Kodey Covey teamed up to win the 3200 meter relay.
