(STURGIS) – Sturgis Public Schools has received multiple teacher mini grants for several classroom projects.
During a recent meeting, Sturgis Superintendent Dr. Art Ebert shared with the Board of Education about the grants, which were awarded by the Sturgis Area Community Foundation. LINKC.

In addition, at Sturgis High School Riley Post was given $250 for Journaling To Success; while at Congress School, Kylie Broth was given $500 for a STEM Project; at Sturgis Middle School Megan Watkins received $500 for a small group reading project, while Kim Harlow was given a $350 grant for a camera battery project and Nikita Milliman was given $498.61 for direct instruction to close gaps.
At Eastwood School, Stephanie Byler was given $720 for a Michigan History project while Katie Erblet received $500 for Special Education math.
Pam Keesler was given a $500 grant to use at all schools to support special education while Amy Claar was given $500 to help students explore possible careers.
All total, $7,368.61 in grants was awarded to Sturgis Public Schools.
