(BRONSON) – Bronson Community Schools will be presenting District residents with a bond request.
In a posting on the Bronson Jr./Sr. High School Facebook page, it was shared that the Bronson Board of Education has approved a bond scope and ballot language for a $32.33 million proposal, that will be brought to the voters on May 6.
Projects that would be funded by the bond, if approved, include a building addition and renovations at the current Anderson site. That includes a secure entry/vestibule and main office area; additional classrooms to house all students in grades K-5; a full size gymnasium; a media center; and dedicated art and music rooms.
In addition, the funds would be used to convert the 6 lane yardage track to an 8 lane metric track, along with new tennis courts.
Bronson school officials say they are excited to share more information with the community. They will let everyone know when and how they can learn more about this proposal.
