(CENTREVILLE) – The contract for the Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Executive Director has been extended.
During Tuesday's meeting the CMH Board of Directors approved the extension for Kristine Kirsch, after she received a satisfactory evaluation. Kirsch's contract was to come to an end on November 29. The Board extended it with no salary increase, but giving her an additional
week of vacation.
Two goals were given to Kirsch by the CMH Board for 2019. They are to reach out to the community to help them understand the mission of the organization; and to develop a 360 degree feedback program for the entire management team.
Kirsch was appointed to be Executive Director for the CMH in November 2017. In April of that year, she was named the Interim Executive Director after former Director Elizabeth O'Dell was placed on paid administrative leave while an audit was done of the CMH.
Kirsch previously served as the CMH Director before stepping down several years ago.
