(HOWE) - A traffic stop on the Toll Road near Howe sent an Angola man to jail on drug charges Thursday night.
43 year old Donnie Henderson was booked in the LaGrange County Jail on preliminary felony charges for dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a common nuisance. He also faces misdemeanor charges for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility.
Indiana State Police Trooper Zarek Finely stopped a pickup on westbound I-80 near the 120.5 mile marker, for a traffic infraction. The vehicle was allegedly driven by Henderson. While Finely was speaking to Henderson he spotted indicators of criminal activity.
During a search of the truck, officers allegedly found 25 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia. Further investigation revealed that Henderson was allegedly driving with a suspended license and no insurance.
