(UNDATED) – Some area churches will be having Good Friday celebrations.

In Sturgis, Trinity Lutheran Church will be holding their annual Cross Walk. It starts at the Church, located at 406 South Lakeview Avenue, at 12 PM. The community is welcome to walk the rout, which ends up back at the church. Please dress for the weather conditions if you choose to join the walk.

Our sister station, Fox Sports Radio 1230 will provide the music for the Cross Walk once again this year.

Also at 12 PM, the Sturgis First United Methodist Church will have their Good Friday Service. The Church is located at 200 South Pleasant Street. This is open to the entire community. A re-broadcast of the service will be heard on Fox Sports Radio 1230, immediately following the Cross Walk.

In Branch County, the Bronson Area Covenant Of Churches will be presenting the Way Of The Cross. This is a re-enactment of Jesus' journey to the cross, and will start at 3 PM.

The procession will start in front of the First Congregational Church on U.S. 12, just west of the main stoplight. It will move west along U.S. 12 from station to station, and will end at St. Mary's Assumption Church.

The Burr Oak Methodist Church will be having their Good Friday service at 7 PM Friday, featuring Sara Freeman and Johnny Davis.
