SHIPSHEWANA – Two men who allegedly beat a third man at a residence near Shipshewana on Wednesday were arrested Friday following the service of a search warrant.
The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office says Adolphus Powell of 10895 West County Road 590 North was attacked with a broken shovel handle and an axe handle during an argument over some stolen property.
Powell fled and was discovered by a passer-by on State Road 120 with multiple injuries that included a broken arm. He was treated at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
