(COLDWATER) – Sentence has been handed down to a Battle Creek man on two charges.
Branch County Circuit Court officials say 20 year old Alexander Woodman was sentenced to 16 to 24 months on a charge of fourth degree criminal sexual conduct. He was also given a sentence of 13 to 60 months for a charge of larceny of a vehicle between $1,000 and $20,000.
In April, Woodman plead guilty to the charges. He was arrested in August 2018 for having sexual relations with an underage girl. The larceny incident happened in November 2018.
With the pleas, the Branch County Prosecutor's Office agreed to dismiss a charge of third degree criminal sexual conduct and another charge of breaking and entering with intent.
