(CENTREVILLE) – The St. Joseph County ISD has their budget for the 2019-2020 school year.
During their meeting this week, the ISD Board of Education held a public hearing on the proposed budget. Total revenues are projected at $5.813 million and projected expenses at $5.818 million. The makes the expenses over revenues at almost $5,300.
In related business, the ISD also received an update on their 2018-2019 budget. The general fund is projected to be at $8.56 million, up from $6.64 million in April. That's due to an increase of $1.8 million in grant funding from April to June. Expenses for the current budget year are projected to be at $8.5 million.
That would give the ISD $60,706 in revenues over expenses, and a fund balance at $1.11 million.
