The Angola Board of Public Works and Safety discussed a sewer lateral repair and the Michindoh Glacial Aquifer on Monday evening.
The board discussed the necessary steps in moving forward with the Michindoh Aquifer to make sure the necessary measures were taken and people are aware of the battle being fought over a valuable resource affecting multiple midwestern states.
In addition, Ken Johnson came to the Board of Public Works and Safety to dispute the liability of Mike Shoup for repairs that took place on a sewer lateral at 609 Thunder Drive. It was determined after discussion between Johnson and city employees that Mr. Shoup would be responsible for the $12,000 in damages.
The next Board of Public Works and Safety meeting will take place at 6:30 pm on Monday December 3rd, 2018.
