Michigan tackle Andrew Stueber out with leg injury
Friday, August 16, 2019

(ANN ARBOR) – Michigan football offensive tackle Andrew Stueber suffered a leg injury during practice on Wednesday and will be out indefinitely, according to team spokesperson Dave Ablauf. Stueber, a redshirt sophomore, was seen on crutches outside Schembechler Hall on Wednesday afternoon. He appeared in all 13 games last season on special teams and played 11 at right tackle. Stueber relieved the injured Juwann Bushell-Beatty against Indiana on Nov. 17 and started the final two games of the season. He has been competing for the starting right tackle job with Jalen Mayfield since spring. Stueber's injury presumably leaves Mayfield as the favorite to start entering the season.
