(MENDON) – The No. 6 ranked in Division 3 Centreville volleyball team won their third straight Southwest 10 Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday. The Lady Bulldogs beat Bloomingdale (2-0), Decatur (2-0), Bangor (2-0), and Hartford (2-0) in pool play. Then in the semifinals, Centreville beat White Pigeon 2-1 before facing host and No. 3 ranked in Division 4 Mendon in the finals, and defeating the Lady Hornets 2-1 (24-26, 25-18, 15-11). Joanna Larsen had 53 kills, 64 digs 12 blocks and 5 aces for Centreville. Hannah Duchene had 30 kills, 13 aces and 7 blocks while Kenleigh West-Wing had 53 assists and 27 kills. Kate Miles had 45 digs and Sarah Stauffer had 14 kills, 19 digs and 5 aces. Centreville is now 35-8-2 overall and 15-0 in the Southwest 10.
