Bronson volleyball team wins Constantine Tournament
(CONSTANTINE) – The Bronson volleyball team won the Constantine Tournament on Saturday, with the No. 5 in Division 3 Lady Vikings going 6-0 on the day. In Pool Play, Bronson beat Lawton (2-0), Gobles (2-0) and Coloma (2-0). In the quarterfinals, the Lady Vikings beat Lawton again (2-0), then knocked off host Constantine (2-0) in the semifinals then they beat Dowagiac 2-0 (25-15, 25-17) in the championship. On the day Meagan Lasky had 130 assists, 20 digs and 5 aces for Bronson. Alanna Mayer added 17 kills, 9 digs and 8 aces. Karissa Gest had 35 kills, 28 digs, 14 aces and 8 blocks while Keona Salesman had 52 kills, 29 digs and 7 blocks. Skye Woodman had 21 kills, 8 blocks and 5 digs.
