(STURGIS) – The Sturgis boys basketball team watched their 20 point lead slip away, but they were able to hold on and beat visiting Plainwell 56-48. Thomas Kurowski led the Trojans with 24 points, 2 steals and 2 assists. Trey Wallick added 14 points and 3 assists while Tyler Lewis had 7 points and 3 rebounds off the bench. Sturgis has now won 5 straight games and improves to 7-3 on the season.
