(MENDON) – Tied at 40 after three quarters, White Pigeon outscored Mendon 16-6 in the final stanza and beat the host Hornets 56-46 in Southwest 10 boys basketball. Daniel Jackson led the Chiefs and all scorers on the night with 23 points. Teammate Chris Jackson added 15 points while Stone Kemp had 7 points. Mendon was led by Dahntae Bailey with 14 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds. Dakota Ames added 11 points, 3 steals and 2 rebounds. Caiden Adams had 7 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. White Pigeon improves to 7-9 overall and 7-8 in the Southwest 10. Mendon is now 2-13 overall and in the conference.
