(CENTREVILLE) – Host Glen Oaks held a 35-34 lead at the end of the first half, but Mid Michigan College came back to beat the host Vikings 81-72 in MCCAA West Division men's basketball. After Glen Oaks tied the game at 59-59 with just over 8 minutes left in the second half, the Lakers would go on a 10-5 run to get a lead they would not lose. Jesse Sawyer led Glen Oaks with 20 points and 9 rebounds. JoMel Boyd added 19 points and 9 rebounds while Whitney Harris had 18 points and 9 rebounds. Daniel Hughley had 7 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Glen Oaks is now 13-14 overall and 5-11 in the West Division. They still have a chance to make the postseason, but they will need to get a win tonight at Jackson College.
