(OXFORD, OH) - For his work on and off the ice, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference tabbed Miami University senior forward Karch Bachman its Senior Scholar Athlete Award winner on Thursday. The award is given annually to the senior hockey player who best combines their work on the ice and in the classroom. In his final season in Oxford, the LaGrange County native recorded a career-high 31 points on 10 goals and 21 assists. His point total tied for second on the RedHawks.
