(UNDATED) – Niles will be joining the Wolverine Conference in the 2021-2022 school year.
The Niles Board of Education voted Monday to approve the move to the Wolverine Conference. Sturgis Athletic Director Mark Adams says the conference approved Niles joining them earlier this month, but it was not a unanimous vote. LINKC.

Niles will replace South Haven, which announced they were leaving the Wolverine Conference at the end of the 2019-2020 athletic season. They will be joining the BCS in 2020-2021. South Haven has been talking about the possibility of leaving for over year and finding a conference where they could be more competitive.
