(COLDWATER) - The Sturgis Girls Golf team played in the Coldwater Invitational and finished 3rd shooting a 377 at Coldwater Country Club. The Coldwater Invitational is traditionally a tournament with quality teams and is very competitive. Participants in the eleven team tournament included such teams as St. Joseph (currently 1st in SMAC West), Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic Central, Harper Creek (currently 1st in I-8) and Gull Lake (currently 1st in SMAC West). Two Lady Trojans received Top 10 medals as Carli Sanford carded a hard working 87 and Alexis Devries shooting an 89. Madisen Percival grinded out a 103, Mia Moreno shot a 108 and Vianey Cardiel finished up the scoring with a 115.
