(ANGOLA) – The East Noble girls track team won the Angola Sectional on Tuesday. Host Angola was second, followed by West Noble, Central Noble, Garrett, Prairie Heights, Westview, DeKalb, Eastside, Lakeland and Fremont. Lakeland's Kierstin Roose was Sectional champion in the discus. Aleka Ernsberger of Westview won the Sectional championship in the 400 meters. Meleah Leatherman of Central Noble was Sectional champion in the high jump. Samantha Biernat of Angola was Sectional champion in the 800 meters while teammate Laura Rodriguez Luga won the Sectional title in the 300 meter hurdles. Jessica Davis was Sectional champ in the shot put while Angola also won Sectional titles in the 400 meter relay and the 1600 meter relay.
