(COLDWATER) – Host Coldwater went 2-1 at their own “Stout and Sons” baseball tournament. The Cardinals lost to Schoolcraft 11-6. Then they were able to beat eventual champion Carleton-Airport 5-4 and then beat Sturgis 8-7. Zach Rigot had 2 hits on the day and was the winning pitcher against Carleton-Airport, striking out 7 in 6 and two-thirds innings. Logan Farmer had 3 RBI while Brady McFarland had 2 RBI as did Austin Roby.
