(COLDWATER) – The Coldwater softball teams went 1-1 at their own Invitational, losing to Grandville 5-2 and then beating Garden City 3-1. Mya Porter took the loss in game one, despite striking out 8 batters. Kenzie Searing got the win in game two, striking out 4 and giving up 2 hits. Maddie Moore got a bases loaded walk for an RBI and a sacrifice fly for another RBI in game two. Coldwater is now 9-14 on the season.
