(JENISON) - The Sturgis wrestling team won the Jenison "C.J. Crowe" Invitational over the weekend. Coach Brad Barkby says the Trojans competed well from start to finish, showing true grit in the championship round. Taking first place for Sturgis were Easton Barkby (132) and Alex Valdez (175). Finishing in second place were Jouse Galvan (113), Cooper Barkby (120) and Dechlan Fieberkorn (144). Taking third place were Jacob Lewis (150), Ayden Hamilton Casner (157) and Juan Pablo Soto (165).
